Forza: The Samurai Sword Workout

PechaKucha Night, Vol. 10

Tara Lee Downs directs this Vermont Stage Company production of David Lindsay Abaire's Tony Award-winning play about high-school sweethearts who reunite 30 years later under less-than-ideal circumstances. Friday, May 10, 7:30PM at FlynnSpace in Burlington. $24.30-32.50.

'Gruesome Playground Injuries'


In their production of Rajiv Joseph's acclaimed play, Jordan Gullikson and Chris Caswell present nonlinear vignettes about a 30-year friendship defined by physical and emotional scars. Friday, May 10, 8PM at Off Center for the Dramatic Arts in Burlington. $15-20.

Spielpalast Cabaret


Satire meets saucy cigar girls, who channel vintage burlesque in an evening of vaudeville backed by a rowdy house orchestra. Special "scandalous shows," May 12, 8 p.m., May 18, 11 p.m. and May 25, 8 p.m. Friday, May 10, 8PM at Burlington City Hall Auditorium in Burlington. $25-28; for mature audiences only; cocktail hours precede performances.
